Data Analyst

As part of the data team at 22seven, you’ll be a key part of driving our business effectiveness and managing our product. You’ll be focused on implementing analytical solutions that enable us to be a metrics driven organisation and help our customers manage their money better.

About you

  • You are familiar with data analysis in Python (or R), querying relational databases, and using data visualisation tools.

  • You are a critical thinker with a strong commitment to analytical rigour and data ethics.

  • You are proactive with a drive for understanding and finding solutions to complex problems.

  • You are passionate about personal finance and believe in its life-changing possibilities.

  • You are keen on working collaboratively with a cross-functional team, using Agile methodologies.

Here are some of the things you’ll look after:
  • Implementing tracking solutions to monitor business trends and feature usage.

  • Developing customer segmentation analyses that lead to product management insights.

  • Maintaining and evolving business intelligence dashboards to improve our performance.

  • Producing reporting metrics to inform the Product and Lead teams.

And these are some things we’d like you to bring to the role:
    • 2-4 years of experience as a data analyst

    • Experience with Tableau and SQL

    • An undergraduate degree with some statistics

    • Knowledge of AWS services like S3, Redshift and EC2 will be handy.

Team collaboration

  • Work with our Data Scientist, to ensure we are analysing the right things, reacting in the right ways and that our data capabilities are continually developed.

  • Work with our Product Owner to ensure that the development process is working smoothly and that high quality standards are maintained.

  • Work with our Product Manager to ensure that we are informed about and reacting to customer behaviour and product performance.

  • Work with Svens to continuously improve our support performance and customer experience.

  • Work with our Marketing team to understand the effectiveness of our campaigns and support communications to our customers.


  • Monitor and react to changes trends in business and customer metrics.

  • Implement product quality metrics and monitor these metrics for opportunities to improve.

  • Work with our developers to integrate tracking links into all feature releases.

  • Support studies run by our Data Scientist to advance our business and customer understanding.

  • Support routine customer product interviews and feature testing sessions.
