We don’t simply come to work at 22seven. We come to do beautiful, epic, awe-inspiring work. More than that, we want our work to contribute something positive to the world.
If you think you can do amazing things with our team at our offices, we’d love to hear from you.
As part of the development team at 22seven you’ll be part of growing, maintaining and scaling our web applications. This includes the webapp and our operational support app.
Our tech stack:
We’re migrating our AngularJS webapp over to ReactJS (with Redux) in ES2015.
Our Operational support app uses the MEAN stack.
You should know some of these or be passionate about learning them:
ES5 and ES2015
Collaborate across the team to understand the direction, design, and experience of our products.
Work with Andre, our head Sven, on our operational tools to continue delivering great customer support.
We expect you to:
Be your own customer. The more we use our own app, the more we find ways to improve it.
Care about the essence of the service and what it can do for you.
Be open to technology choices and engineering practices. We exist first and foremost to create something amazing for our customers.
Care deeply about quality, testing, performance, maintainability, scalability, readability and anything else that would make you insanely proud of the stuff we build.
Be a core part of solving something the world still knows little about: how to help people do more with their money.
If this sounds ideal then email firstname.lastname@example.org with a note about yourself and why this role is perfect for you. Include as many links as you can to relevant information, like your LinkedIn, and other profiles, previous projects, articles you’ve written, things you are passionate about — anything that helps us learn more about you.
Our HQ is in one of the oldest theatres in South Africa, right in the middle of the Cape Town City Bowl. Imagine if you smashed a temple of amazingness into a really comfortable lounge with great art on the walls. That still wouldn’t be as awesome as our offices. Needless to say, anyone who wants to work with us should be in Cape Town, or plan to be.
